Abstract:
To provide a granular material processing device and a granular material processing method capable of performing a predetermined process with respect to front and rear both surfaces of the granular material, and easily miniaturizing the device.SOLUTION: A tablet printing device 1 comprises an annular conveyance mechanism 20, a printing part 30, and a reversing mechanism 70. The annular conveyance mechanism 20 conveys a tablet 9 along an annular conveyance passage while suction-holding the tablet 9 with an equal interval in a conveying direction and a width direction. The printing part 30 prints an image on a surface of the tablet 9 at a processing position on the conveyance passage of the annular conveyance mechanism 20. The reversing mechanism 70 reverses front and rear of the tablet 9 while holding the granular material with the equal interval in the conveying direction and the width direction at a reversing position on the conveyance passage of the annular conveyance mechanism 20. Thereby printing can be performed on both the surfaces of the tablet 9 at the same processing position on the conveyance passage. Thereby the number of components of the device can be reduced and the device can be miniaturized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
