Abstract:
To appropriately control an outdoor unit of an air conditioner on the basis of positional relation between the outdoor unit and an obstacle around it.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 900 includes: an outdoor heat exchanger 963 provided within an outdoor unit casing 910, having a heat radiation fin and performing heat exchange; a compressor 950 having a compressor electric motor 952 and compressing a refrigerant for heat exchange; an air blowing fan 965 blowing air to the outdoor heat exchanger 963; a fan electric motor 966 driving the air blowing fan 965; an electric motor drive section 122 supplying electric power to the fan electric motor 966 and detecting physical quantity IF, VF in the fan electric motor 966; and a control section 10 controlling the electric motor drive section 122. The control section 10 includes: a normal operation control section 16 normally rotating the air blowing fan 965 during a normal operation; and an environment estimation section 14 determining whether or not a rearward distance is a predetermined value or more by reversely rotating the air blowing fan 965.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
