Abstract:
To provide methods for treating or preventing NK-responsive health conditions, e.g., cancer and viral infections.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for treating or preventing a NK-responsive condition, which comprises competitively inhibiting CIS binding to one or more of Elongin B, Elongin C, or Karin-5 by administering a cytokine-induced SH2 protein (CIS) inhibitor, such as a peptide, peptidomimetic, small molecule, polynucleotide, or polypeptide, and to a method for an adoptive cell therapy comprising administering CIS-inhibited NK cells.SELECTED DRAWING: None
