Abstract:
To provide a protective relay device that has a simple structure and can accurately determine whether or not a CT is saturated.SOLUTION: A protective relay device includes an input unit that receives an input of a power system current detected by a current transformer, a waveform generation unit that generates a first-order differentiation waveform of the current by differentiating the current, a zero-cross detection unit that detects first zero-cross points of the first-order differentiation waveform, and a saturation determination unit that determines whether or not the current transformer is saturated on the basis of a first zero-cross interval indicating an interval between the adjacent first zero-cross points.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
