Abstract:
To provide a chuck device which holds a workpiece without deforming the workpiece when the workpiece supplied to a machine tool is a plate material.SOLUTION: A housing 110 includes a workpiece abutting surface 115a which is arranged oppositely to workpiece holding claw sections 122. When a plurality of rod bodies 120 release holding of the workpiece W, each of the workpiece holding claw sections 122 is integrally oscillated so as to separate from each other while separating the workpiece holding claw sections 122 from the workpiece abutting surface 115a of a housing 100. When the plurality of rod bodies 120 hold the workpiece W, each of the workpiece holding claw sections 122 is integrally moved in parallel with an advancing/retreating direction of a driver 140 and the workpiece holding claw sections are made to abut on the workpiece W after each of the workpiece holding claw sections 122 is integrally oscillated so as to approach to each other while bringing the workpiece holding claw sections 122 closer to the workpiece abutting surface 115a of the housing 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
