Abstract:
To provide a method for consolidating an agarwood to a plate material.SOLUTION: The method includes at least pretreatment, heating treatment, heating/pressurizing treatment and cooling treatment. The heating/pressurizing treatment includes: (1) a step of a first heating/pressurizing treatment in which a raw wood after the heating treatment is continuously heated so that a core material temperature becomes 130 to 280°C and is kept warm for 4 to 6 minutes, the raw wood is compressed at a compressibility ratio of 40 to 60% and is kept warm and pressurized for 4 to 8 minutes, then the pressure is released, and the core material temperature is lowered to 90 to 110°C and is kept at the temperature for 3 to 5 minutes; and (2) a step of a second heating/pressurizing treatment in which the raw wood after the first heating/pressurizing treatment is heated again so that the core material temperature becomes 130 to 280°C and is kept warm for 8 to 10 minutes, the raw wood is compressed at a compressibility ratio of 90 to 95% and is kept warm and pressurized for 20 to 24 minutes, and then the pressure is released. A manufacturing method provided by the present invention is simple and practical, and the manufactured plate material of agarwood has a low modulus of repulsion elasticity and is hard to tear, has high dimension stability, and does not deform even when getting wet in a short time and receiving direct sunlight, thereby a problem of environmental pollution due to manufacturing of compressed wood can be solved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
