Abstract:
To provide an exhaust gas purification device capable of curbing emissions of exhaust gas in the form of white smoke containing aqueous vapor.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas purification device 10 which purifies exhaust gas of an engine 1 mounted on a vehicle with an SCR catalyst 4 comprises: a drain valve 6 which closes an interior space of a container 5 to be openable to the outside, so as to drain condensate water accumulated in the container 5 where the SCR catalyst 4 is stored to the outside; and a control unit 7 which controls an operation state of the drain valve 6. The control unit 7 counts accumulated idling time or low load operation time of the engine 1 and opens the drain valve 6 when the accumulated idling time or the low load operation time exceeds a predetermined threshold and the engine 1 is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
