Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharging device which can support glossiness control for both of matte (low-gloss) tone and gloss (high-gloss) tone, in which there is a large difference between the matte tone and the gloss tone, and which can obtain a highly decorative image.SOLUTION: A liquid discharging device comprises: a liquid storage part which stores liquid; a liquid discharge head which discharges the liquid to a printed object; and heating means which heats the printed object. The liquid is clear ink which contains resin, water and polyether-modified siloxane compound. The liquid discharging device has a low-gloss printing mode being the printing mode of applying low glossiness and a high-gloss printing mode being the printing mode of applying high glossiness. When the temperature of the heating means in the low-gloss printing mode is Tmatte [°C] and the temperature of the heating means in the high-gloss printing mode is Tgloss [°C], the expression: Tmatte>Tgloss is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: None
