Abstract:
To provide a water-cooled engine such that deposits such as glass, straw, etc., caught on a wind suction face of a radiator can be efficiently removed.SOLUTION: A water-cooled engine comprises wind suction faces on a side where a radiator fan is present and the opposite side as both faces of a radiator, and is configured to suck normal-rotation wind from the wind suction face to the radiator with sucking force of the radiator fan which rotates normally under normal rotation control 3a over a motor, and also jet reverse wind from the wind suction faces of the radiator with feed force of the radiator fan which reverses under reversing controls 3b, 3d over the motor. On receiving a reversing command signal 4a, an electronic control device performs the reversing controls 3b, 3d a plurality of times, and performs a rotation stop control 3c between the successive reversing controls 3b, 3d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
