Abstract:
To provide a weight-control pet food that contains a plant-derived protein source material and thus can reduce body fat mass while diminishing loss of muscle mass.SOLUTION: There is provided a weight-control pet food that is used for the purpose of controlling body weight while diminishing loss of muscle mass, that has a water content of less than 25%, and that has, based on the total mass of the pet food, a protein content of 20 mass% or more in terms of a dry matter, and an isolated soybean protein content of 5-30 mass% in terms of a dry matter.SELECTED DRAWING: None
