Abstract:
To provide an inkjet printer configured so that variation in viscosity of ink to be supplied from an ink warming mechanism to an inkjet head can be suppressed.SOLUTION: An ink warming mechanism 12 comprises: a warming part main body 21 having an ink flow passage formed therein; a heater 22 that is attached to the warming part main body 21 to heat the warming part main body 21; and a temperature sensor 23 that is mounted on the warming part main body 21 to detect a temperature of the warming part main body 21. A heater control part for controlling the heater 22 controls the heater 22 on the basis of a detected result by the temperature sensor 23 so that the temperature of the warming part main body 21 is equal to a predetermined reference temperature, and calculates decreases in the temperature of the warming part main body 21 caused by influence of ink flowing into the ink flow passage, on the basis of a detected result by the temperature sensor 23 after discharge of ink from an inkjet head 3 is started, and updates the reference temperature on the basis of the calculated decreases in temperature of the warming part main body 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
