Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control device which prevents tire generation force on a front wheel from reaching a limit when a steering is operated.SOLUTION: The vehicle control device, which controls a vehicle provided with a steering device 200 which steers front wheels with an actuator 270 and a brake force differential generation device 73 which generates a brake force differential between right and left wheels 61 and 62, comprises: a target steering angle setting section 152 which sets a target steering angle of the steering device; a front wheel state determination section 131 which determines a front wheel severe state where tire generation force TF on front wheels 51 and 52 is likely to reach a limit L; and control sections 130 and 140 which, when the front wheel severe state is determined, make an actual steering angle smaller than the target steering angle set by the target steering angle setting section and cause the brake force differential generation device to generate the brake force differential enhancing yawing in a turning direction of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
