Abstract:
To provide a laminate that is more thin and intricately curved, and is used for window glass for automobiles or for construction application.SOLUTION: An intricately curved laminate, for example, window glass of an automobile, made from an intricately curved substrate and a flat substrate, and an intricately curved glass are cold molded from a curved substrate and a flat substrate. The laminate comprises a first intricately curved glass substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, a second intricately curved glass substrate having a third surface and a fourth surface opposite to the third surface and a thickness between these, and a polymer intermediate layer fixed to the second and third surfaces, in which the compressive stress value of the fourth surface is greater than the compressive stress value of the third surface, and one of the first thickness or the second thickness is within the range of 0.1 mm to 1.4 mm, each of the first and second intricately curved glass substrates has a non planar shape having a curvature along two orthogonal axes different from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
