Abstract:
To improve wiping performance of a wiping member.SOLUTION: A wiping device includes a first web-like member 41 which has a surface brought into contact with a surface of a nozzle surface 111a of a head 111 and wipes the nozzle surface 111a, a second web-like member 42 which is arranged on a rear face side of the first web-like member 41 and is different from the first web-like member 41, and a pressing member 9 which presses the first web-like member 41 and the second web-like member 42 against the nozzle surface 111a. The first web-like member 41 and the second web-like member 42 are overlapped by a guide roller 7 on a conveyance direction upstream side of the pressing member 9 and are conveyed as the wiping member 4, and the first web-like member 41 and the second web-like member 42 are pressed against the nozzle surface 111a by the pressing member 9 in a state where the members are overlapped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
