To provide a photoelectric conversion element that does not deteriorate power generation characteristics even when repeatedly bent.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element includes a base material 2 made of a material that can be bent and deformed, and in which a microspace formed between tissues that make up the base material is distributed inside itself while communicating with another microspace therearound, a first electrode 3 formed on the base material, a second electrode 4 formed on the base material, and a photoelectric conversion layer 5 formed inside the base material, and the microspace has a size in which a photoelectric conversion side material can be arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
