Abstract:
To provide a filter medium filtering particles from a fuel flow through the service life of the medium and being improved for the incorporation of mixed water.SOLUTION: In a filter medium for a liquid fuel including a particle filtration layer where binder fibers and medium fibers are contained and a melt-blown material is not practically contained and an incorporation layer in the downstream of the particle filtration layer,: a ratio of the air permeability of the particle filtration layer to the air permeability of the incorporation layer is in the range from 3:1 to 15:1; and it is desirable that the incorporation layer contains glass fibers and a binder material practically and contains 85 wt.% of glass fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: None
