Abstract:
To provide a box packing device capable of properly gripping continuous packaging bags and packing them into a box while suppressing failures of breaking or dropping the continuous packaging bags.SOLUTION: A box packing device packs, into a box, a continuous packaging bag CB composed of a plurality of bags B connected in a first direction via connection parts, while folding the continuous packaging bag at least at a part of the connection parts. The box packing device includes: a collection area of a mounting stand 160; a box packing mechanism 170; a first acquisition part; and a control part. The box packing mechanism includes a gripping part 171. The gripping part grips the continuous packaging bag mounted on the collection area of the mounting stand while changing a posture so as to make the bags short in the first direction. The box packing mechanism packs the continuous packaging bag gripped by the gripping part into a box. The first acquisition part acquires information related to a thickness of the bag. The control part changes and controls operation of the gripping part based on the information related to a thickness of the bag.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12D
