Abstract:
To provide a magnetic carrier that is excellent in durable stability of image density and that can suppress uneven density and fogging on an image surface.SOLUTION: A magnetic carrier has a compound having an amino group on the surface of a magnetic core particle and also has a resin coating layer on it. The compound having an amino group is exposed on at least part of the magnetic carrier surface. A nitrogen atom concentration detected by a surface analysis of the magnetic carrier by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is 0.40 atom% or more and 1.00 atom% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
