Abstract:
To provide a support guide for use in a radome of a base station antenna.SOLUTION: A support guide for a base station antenna and a base station antenna assembly are provided, the support guide is disposed in a radome of the base station antenna and has an arcuate principal body portion and connection portions disposed at opposite ends of the principal body portion. The principal body portion includes at least one guide portion. Each guide portion is configured to support and guide each of cable and/or a rod of the base station antenna. The connection portion is configured to attach the support guide to a reflector plate of the base station antenna. Thus, the cable and RET rods inside the antenna can be installed and maintained in a regular fashion such that the number of components for installing and holding the cable and the RET rod is reduced and a process of installation and retention is simplified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
