Abstract:
To provide an isolation valve for a fluid spray system which electrically isolates a spray gun from a main fluid supply.SOLUTION: An isolation valve 14b for a fluid spray system includes an inlet module 20b for receiving fluid from a main reservoir 12, an outlet module 22b for providing fluid received from the inlet module to a sprayer, and an actuating module 24b for driving the inlet module between a connected state and an isolated state. The inlet module is mechanically and fluidly connected to the outlet module in the connected state. The inlet module is separated from the outlet module thereby generating an air gap and electrically isolating the inlet module from the outlet module in the isolated state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
