Abstract:
To provide an image processing system that extracts and stores an item and a value from an atypical forms including a handwriting character.SOLUTION: An image processing system of the present invention uses a learned model for extracting a handwritten character pixel from an image to extract the handwritten character pixel from an image to be processed obtained by scanning a document, uses the learned model for estimating the handwriting area in which the handwriting character is written from the image to estimate a handwriting area from the image to be processed, further extracts the handwriting area including the handwriting character from the image to be processed, identifies a type area having a predetermined positional relation with the handwriting area, and stores a character recognition result of the handwriting area and a character recognition result of the identified type area in association with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
