Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that allows checking of the position of dirt on a translucent plate of a reading unit for a conveyance sheet and allows checking of a cleaning state.SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus, a conveyance image sensor reads a conveyance sheet on which printing is performed, the sheet being conveyed while facing a translucent plate. A light source radiates light toward the conveyance image sensor. A housing (internal housing) includes a cleaning hole into which a cleaning rod for rubbing the translucent plate is inserted. During a maintenance mode, a control unit turns on the light source. The control unit displays, on a display panel, a graph that indicates the pixel values of pixels included in conveyance read image data obtained through the reading performed by the conveyance image sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
