Abstract:
To provide a novel exhaust diffuser strut capable of mitigating a pressure loss problem inside an exhaust diffuser caused by a flow separation phenomenon occurring in a trailing edge of the exhaust diffuser strut.SOLUTION: A strut 300 provided in an exhaust diffuser and having an airfoil-shaped cross-section is provided. A trailing edge 310 of the strut has a cut 320 in a span direction, where the cut forms a step in at least a portion of the trailing edge and begins from a radial external end of the strut.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
