Abstract:
To provide an assist suit that does not apply an unnecessary compressive force to an intervertebral disc of a wearer while exhibiting an assist effect for various motions such as side bending motion and motion in a twisting direction, in addition to an assist effect for the wearer's forward bending motion.SOLUTION: An assist suit comprises an elastic part which is made of a linear member formed in a loop shape so as to form an opening surface and is mounted along a wearer's back, a pair of shoulder belts with one end attached to the elastic part, which is wound around the wearer's shoulder, a pair of leg belts with one end attached to the elastic part, which is wound around the wearer's lower limbs, and a waist belt wound around the wearer's waist so that the elastic part comes into contact with the wearer's waist. The linear member is made of a member that is difficult to extend under a load of the wearer's motion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
