Abstract:
To provide an information processing system configured to reduce the total processing time.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes a first information processing apparatus, and a second information processing apparatus which communicates with the first information processing apparatus via a communication path. The first information processing apparatus includes: a measurement unit for measuring communication speed of the communication path; a determination unit which determines whether to transmit specific information, on the basis of the communication speed, throughput of the first information processing apparatus, and throughput of the second information processing apparatus; and a first execution unit which executes, when the determination unit determines not to transmit the specific information, reduction processing on the specific information to reduce the amount of data. The second information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit which receives specific information from the first information processing apparatus, and a second execution unit which executes reduction processing on the specific information received by the receiving unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
