To provide a lifting tool for lifting an article having an opening toward the lifting direction and at least one side surface.SOLUTION: A lifting tool 10 comprises a support part 21 that can move in the lifting direction, an insertion part 35 that can be moved in the lifting direction together with the support part 21 and can be inserted into and removed from the opening Wa of an article W, and a contact part 60 that can move in the lifting direction together with the support part 21 and can contact the article W from the side surface side. The lifting tool 10 has also a link mechanism 20 that connects the contact part 60 and the support part 21 so as to be able to transmit power. The link mechanism 20 can move the contact part 60 in a direction approaching the side surface Wc of the article W when the support part 21 moves in the lifting direction with the insertion part 35 inserted into the opening Wa, and can also move the contact part 60 in a direction separating from the side surface Wc of the article W when the support part 21 moves in the direction opposite to the lifting direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
