Abstract:
To solve the problem that it is desirable: to form a wavelength conversion member arranged to face a light emitting element using a composite ceramic phosphor; and to prevent a step appearing on the surface of the polished and etched composite ceramic phosphor from reducing the characteristics of a dichroic mirror when forming the dichroic mirror above the composite ceramic phosphor.SOLUTION: An optical device comprises: a phosphor layer including a phosphor and having the light receiving surface of excitation light and the emitting surface of fluorescent light; a transparent support having a surface facing the phosphor layer; a dichroic mirror arranged on the surface of the transparent support facing the phosphor layer; and a transparent bonding layer arranged between the phosphor layer and the dichroic mirror. The transparent bonding layer includes a first layer arranged on the phosphor layer and a second layer arranged on the dichroic mirror, and surfaces of the first layer and the second layer facing each other are directly bonded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1-1
