Abstract:
To provide a novel polymer surfactant that imparts high affinity toward an inorganic filler and a radical-polymerizable monomer and high hydrophobicity, and thereby imparting high mechanical strength, flexibility and durability when used in medical or dental material, and an inorganic filler coated with the polymer surfactant and a medical or dental composition including the same.SOLUTION: The polymer surfactant is represented by the following formula. In the formula, A represents a chemical structure indicating affinity, B represents a chemical structure indicating hydrophobicity, Z represents a structure derived from a polymerization initiator, and a and b represent the number of repetitions, both of which are within the range of 10-1000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
