Abstract:
To provide an EGR system of an engine capable of improving drainage property of an EGR cooler without degrading cooling performance in a state of suppressing a height.SOLUTION: An EGR passage 40 for circulating an exhaust gas to an intake passage 20 includes: an EGR internal passage 44 passing through the inside of a cylinder head 11 at an upstream side with respect to an EGR cooler 41; and a relay passage 45 connected at the outside of the cylinder head 11. The columnar EGR cooler 41 is disposed at an upper part of an intake manifold 23 in a manner that a gas inflow port 41a is positioned at a side of a first end surface 11c and a gas outflow port 41b is positioned at a side of a second end surface 11d, and the relay passage 45 is connected to be communicated with the EGR internal passage 44 at a side part with respect to a head EGR gas outlet 16. The EGR cooler 41 is inclined, and the relay passage 45 is connected to the gas inflow port 41a in a bent state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
