Abstract:
To provide: a thermally latent polymerization initiator which hardly starts curing at room temperature but allows cold cure; a cationically curable resin composition comprising the thermally latent polymerization initiator; and a method of curing a cationically curable compound based on the thermally latent polymerization initiator.SOLUTION: The thermally latent polymerization initiator comprises a compound represented by the formula (I) in the figure, and a nucleophilic nitrogen-containing compound, where the molar ratio of nucleophilic nitrogen atoms contained in the nucleophilic nitrogen-containing compound to the compound represented by the formula (I) is 2 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
