Abstract:
To provide a vehicle control device capable of encouraging a driver to operate a steering wheel while preventing a lateral movement amount of a vehicle from becoming excessive when a driving switching request occurs.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device sets a target travel line so that a vehicle travels along a second line in which a first line is displaced by a predetermined deviation amount in either a left direction or a right direction of the vehicle, when a driving switching request is generated, which is a request to change an operating state of a driving support control from an on state to an off state, after a specific time point, which is a time when a predetermined time has elapsed from a time when the driving switching request is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
