Abstract:
To provide a bobbin detection mechanism and a bobbin hanger in a bobbin transfer device for a roving frame capable of detecting the presence of an empty bobbin in a full bobbin hanger even if the full bobbin hanger and an empty bobbin hanger are at the same height.SOLUTION: A bobbin detection mechanism in a bobbin transfer device for a roving frame comprises: a plurality of full bobbin hangers 21F; a plurality of empty bobbin hangers 21E arranged alternately with the plurality of full bobbin hangers 21F; and a photoelectric sensor for full bobbin hangers for projecting sensor light L toward an arrangement direction at the side of the full bobbin hangers 21F. The full bobbin hanger 21F has a shaft 45 for a full bobbin and a full bobbin elevator capable of being raised and lowered with respect to the shaft 45 for the full bobbin. The full bobbin elevator comprises a light-shielding part 51 for the full bobbin. When an empty bobbin 13E is hung from the full bobbin hanger 21F and the full bobbin elevator rises, the light-shielding part 51 for the full bobbin shields the sensor light L.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
