To provide a laser oscillation current injection OSLD.SOLUTION: A current injection organic semiconductor laser diode is disclosed that includes a pair of electrodes, an optical resonator structure, and one or more organic layers, including an optical amplifying layer containing organic semiconductors, with sufficient overlap between the exciton density distribution during current injection and the field intensity distribution of the resonant optical mode to emit laser light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
