Abstract:
To efficiently recover a medium processing device from an error.SOLUTION: According to a processing method, a control unit 106 confirms the number of media when an identification unit 102 identifies the media, and a temporarily holding unit 103 stores the media, and a storage unit stores the media fed out from the temporarily holding unit after confirming the number thereof. In a first case of generating an error during conveyance of the media from an introduction unit 101 to the temporarily holding unit, the control unit executes a first process of confirming the number of the media stored in the temporarily holding unit when the temporarily holding unit feeds out at least part of the media, and the identification unit identifies the media, and in a second case of generating the error during conveyance of the media from the temporarily holding unit to the storage unit, the control unit executes a second process of confirming the number of the media stored in the storage unit when the storage unit feeds out at least part of the media, and the identification unit identifies the media so as to selectively execute at least one of the first process and the second process by the control unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
