Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method for a rolling bearing that is excellent in seizure resistance and improves indentation resistance.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a rolling bearing in which a plurality of rolling elements are rotatably held between bearing rings having a raceway surface, comprises carbonitriding or carburizing a material constituting the bearing ring, and after tempering at 250°C or higher, hardening the raceway surface by machining, where the material contains, in mass%, C: 0.2 to 1.2%, Si: 0.5 to 1.5%, Mn: 0.1 to 1.5%, Cr: 2.5% or less, Mo: 1.5% or less (including 0%), and the balance consisting of Fe and unavoidable impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: None
