Abstract:
PURPOSE:To inhibit the mixing and overlapping of excitation light with fluorescence in a fluorescence detection optical system by making the excitation light condense to a fluorescent sample turned to a circular luminous flux centered on an optical axis to arrange an excitation optical system optical axis and a fluorescence detection optical system optical axis coaxially. CONSTITUTION:An optical axis 20a of an excitation optical system 20 and an optical axis 40a of a fluorescence detection optical system 40 are arranged coaxially. Excitation light generated from a light source section 21 is reflected with a conical external mirror 31 and a conical internal mirror 32 at a circular luminous flux forming section 30 to be formed to a circular luminous flux. Thereafter, the excitation light is made incident into an excitation light condenser lens 35 and condensed to a fluorescent sample S within a reaction tube 19 to generate fluorescence. The fluorescence is incident into a fluorescence detector 46 in a fluorescence detection optical system through a through hole 41a of a reflector 41 to measure a required component of the fluorescent sample S. The excitation light passing through the fluorescent sample S is diffused from a fluorescence detection optical system optical axis 40a while the number of openings of a fluorescence condenser lens 42 is smaller than that of in internally circular light of an excitation light condenser lens 35 thereby eliminating the mixing and overlapping of the excitation light with fluorescence.
