Abstract:
PURPOSE:To constitute and operate the optical ring bus system by only one station by setting the inside of the own station to a loop-back state independently from an optical ring bus of a double loop constitution, in the case the connection to an adjacent station is impossible. CONSTITUTION:When it is detected by an optical power detecting means 31 that there is not receiving optical power from the left and the right, the inside of the own station is set to a loop-back state being independent from an optical ring bus 10 as a temporary state. Subsequently, the system is raised by only the own station and enters into an operating state, and a bridge between input/ output ports 25 under the own station can be executed. In such a state, it becomes a state that there is receiving optical power from at least the left or the right adjacent station, and when its fact is detected, the circuit reorganization in which the own station is integrated into the optical ring bus system together with the adjacent station concerned is executed. In such a way, the optical ring bus system can be constituted and operated even by only one station.
