Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily file the document of a double-faced original in a correct page sequence by providing a page editing means which rearranges the page sequence of page managing information in that of the original document. CONSTITUTION:A read means 1, which reads the document original set at every plural pages from a single surface side page by page, is provided, read picture information is stored into a storage device 3 together with the page managing information, on the other hand, a setting means 5, which sets the set direction of the document original at a front surface or a rear surface, is provided, and based on contents set in the setting means 5, a page editing part 6 rearranges the page sequence of the page managing information in that of the original document. Thus, even when the read sequence of the double-faced original in the plural pages does not correspond to that of the document, since the correct page managing information according to the page sequence of the original document can be prepared, the document of the double-faced original can be easily filed in the correct page sequence as well.
