Abstract:
A brake pressure control valve of this type has a first control piston which can be acted on by a first control pressure and a second control piston which can be acted on by a second control pressure. The two control pistons serve for actuating a combined inlet and outlet valve, via which a hydraulic inlet chamber can be connected to a working chamber. On such a brake pressure control valve the pressure level of the first control pressure must be equal to the pressure level of the second control pressure in order to prevent the second control piston taking over management of the pressure control when the first control pressure and the second control pressure are present. In order to allow the first control piston to be acted on by a first control pressure which is lower than the second control pressure acting on the second control piston, the invention proposes that the first control piston (25) and the second control piston (2, 9) be so arranged in relation to one another that the first active area (27) of the first control piston and the first active area (11, 12) of the second control piston (2, 9) are so opposed to one another that the first active area (11, 12) of the second control piston (2, 9) is also acted on by the first control pressure against the force of the second control pressure in the second control chamber (4) acting on the second control piston. The first active area (11, 12) of the second control piston (2, 9) acted on by the first control pressure is larger than the second active area of the second control piston (2, 9) acted on by the second control pressure in the second control chamber (3).
