Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accelerate an ATG(Automatic Test-pattern Generator) by disconnecting the output side of a driver connected to the input side of a gate and connecting a constant gate, which always outputs a requested value, in place of it. CONSTITUTION:The output sides of drivers 18 and 15 connected to the input sides of gates 13 and 14 are disconnected and in place of them, constant gates 19 and 20 are connected to always output the requested value. Thus, before the output values of the gates 15 and 18 reach the requested value, the value of a network reaches the requested value. Therefore, the network absolutely turning to '1' finally is not turned to '0' or the network absolutely turning to '0' is not turned to '1' and the search range of the ATG can be narrowed down.
