Abstract:
To monitor an installation (10), such as an automobile crane, large excavator or the like, the status data obtained by monitoring the components of the installation (functional systems) are transferred to a remote directing stand (11) using appropriate data teletransmission (14-16), and control commands are transmitted to the monitoring and control system (10) in order to vary the parameters of the monitoring and control system (10) and/or for remote control by means of data teletransmission from the control and directing stand (11). The monitoring and control system of the installation (10) has a bidirectional, serial data teletransmission interface (12) for online data exchange with the directing or control stand (11), which is equipped with suitable data teletransmission means (17-19).
