Abstract:
PURPOSE:To surely prevent a developer from flowing out of a developing device with a simple structure by providing a liquid drop preventive plate for preventing the developer from flowing and preventing it from dropping down to a transfer part, on the developing device. CONSTITUTION:On the downstream side in the carrying direction of a photosensitive drum 26m of a squeeze roller 313m, that is, on the downstream side of a developing area, a liquid drop preventive plate 317m for preventing a developer from flowing out is disposed so as to be pressed against on the surface of the photosensitive drum 26m. In this state, when the liquid drop preventive plate 317m is pressed against the photosensitive drum 26m side, the developer which flows down from the developing area at the time of stop, etc., of the developing unit is blocked by the liquid drop preventive plate 317m. In such a way, it is prevented surely that the developer drops down to the transfer part side.
