Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a picture signal for a required part only with high accuracy by providing a number counter counting number of effective read areas in the subscanning direction. CONSTITUTION:An output of a line counter 1 and an output of the 1st effective read region tip setting means 41 are compared by the 1st comparator 5, and when they are coincident, a coincidence signal V1='H' is outputted. The level of the subscanning synchronizing signal VE is brought into 'L' by the width Y2 of the effective read area after the coincidence signal V1 goes to 'H' and when the output of the line coutner 1 goes to Y1+Y2, the level of the signal VE goes to 'H'. The subscanning synchronizing signal VE is obtained in this way and the number of leading edges of the signal VE is counted by a number counter 11, the result is compared with the output of the effective read region number setting means 45 by the 5th comparator 12, and when they are coincident, the read end signal is outputted. Further, the segmentation in the main scanning direction is processed similarly. Thus, the signal obtained in this way and a picture signal are inputted to a partial extraction circuit 14.
