Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition suitable as a back-filling material of tunnel, having excellent waterproofness, adhesion, corrosion resistance and hardening properties by blending asphalt emulsifying agent with a hardening material such as cement with bentonite and an accelerating agent of the hardening material. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. asphalt emulsifying agent obtained by dispersing straight asphalt having 40-500 penetration into water containing an emulsifying agent is blended with (B) 20-30wt.% hardening material such as cement, then with (C) 3-15wt.% bentonite while stirring to give a mixture wherein the component C adsorbs water in the component A and is gelatinized, the mixture in the gelatinized state is further blended with (D) 5-15wt.% accelerating agent (e.g. sodium silicate-based, aluminate-based or carbonate-based) of the component B while stirring, hydration reaction of the component B in the mixture is promoted and initial strength is increased to give a mixture composition capable of hardening at normal temperature in water and in the atmosphere.
