Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a smoothing filter by constituting a hysteresis comparator circuit of switched capacitor type onto a semiconductor integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION:The circuit consists of 1st-3rd switches 1-3, 1st and 2nd capacitors 4, 5, an operational amplifier 6, a sample-and-hold circuit 9 including plural inverters 7 and flip-flops 8. The 1st-3rd switches 1-3, the 1st capacitor 4, and the operational amplifier 6 form a comparator circuit and the capacitors 4, 5 are used in place of resistors in a conventional circuit to realize the hysteresis comparator. Thus, the use of the smoothing filter is not required and the chip size of the semiconductor integrated circuit is expanded and the defect of the design procedure is eliminated.
