Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve abrasion resistance without impairing freeness, wire marking properties, etc., by lengthening crimps of weft yarns on the running surface, pairing two adjacent warp yarns sandwiching one warp yarn interweaving weft yarns on the paper making surface and bending the weft yarns on the running surface. CONSTITUTION:Weft yarns in a number of nX2 (n is an integer of >=7) are respectively arranged in the two upper and lower layers and polyester and polyamide yarns are arranged on the running surface. In a complete design figure, marks O indicate positions where the war yarns interweave the weft yarns on the running surface and marks X indicate positions where the warp yarns interweave the weft yarns on the paper making surface. Short crimps are formed during the time of interweaving the polyester weft yarn 1' in the lower layer twice in the weave with the warp yarns 3 and 13 and the polyamide weft yarn 2' in the lower layer is interwoven with the warp yarns 10 and 12 to form knucles and long crimps. The warp yarn 11 interweaves the weft yarn in the upper layer at the position where the warp yarns 10 and 12 interweave the weft yarn 2' and the warp yarns 10 and 12 in a pair strongly bend the weft yarns in the lower layer.
