Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moquette-tone fabric suitable as seats for automobiles, high in elasticity of napped layer, excellent in handle and touch, not noticeable in change of appearance caused by lying down of napped fibers such as finger mark and white shading, comprising a specific sheath-core type conjugate fiber. SOLUTION: This moquette-tone fabric comprises a sheath-core type conjugate fiber which has a flat section of 8 to 14 leaves and is constituted of a core component 4 composed of a full dull polymer and a sheath component 5 composed of a semidull polymer as a napped fiber. The conjugate ratio of the core component and the sheath component is preferably within the range of core/sheath of 90/10 to 30/70.
