Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a curing liquid of the above-mentioned cement consisting of an aqueous solution containing mucopolysaccharides and/or metal salts thereof at specific amounts, capable of retarding time enough to operate without retarding curing time of dental aluminic acid cement and useful as a root canal filler. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution containing 0.05-50wt.% of one or more kinds of mucopolysaccharides, preferably selected from chondroitin sulfuric acid, heparane sulfuric acid, heparin, keratane sulfuric acid, hyaluronic acid and chondroitin and/or one or more kinds of compounds selected from metal salts thereof, preferably sodium salt, potassium salt and calcium salt thereof is used as a curing liquid of dental aluminic acid cement to provide a dental aluminic acid cement capable of securing proper working time because of the above-mentioned effect and having proper flow property in kneaded product, causing no trouble about operability, having good wetting property to root canal face, excellent sealing property and many merits such as non-shrinkage of material itself as root canal filler.
