Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce power consumed in a battery by turning off a driving voltage when displaying by a liquid crystal display is not required. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal display 6 has a film display area, photographic mode display area, and battery display area, and is driven through a driver circuit 25 by using the voltage of a driving voltage generating circuit 24. When a main switch 7 is off and a film presence/absence detecting switch SWF detects that a film is not loaded, a main CPU turns off the FET of the driving voltage generating circuit 24 so that a driving voltage VDD is turned off. Thus, a battery is prevented from being used wastefully; and this eliminates a frequency battery exchange.
