Abstract:
PURPOSE: To secure the capacity of an air cleaner disposed at a space part by installing a muffler and a reserve tank on the rearward side of a space part under a seat surrounded by a seat rail and a back stay, distributing both of them to the right and left with regard to vehicle body center. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner case 16 is accommodated in a space part 13 under a seat surrounded by two right and left seat rails 7a, 7b and a back stay 8. The exhaust pipe 17 of an engine is inserted in the space part, and a large-diameter muffler 18 is fitted along one seat rail 7a at an end part behind the back stay 8. A reserve tank 20 for cooling water is installed along the other seat rail 7b at the rear part of the back stay 8, and the muffler 18 and the reserve tank 20 are distributed in a good balance to the right and left with regard to the vehicle body center. As a result, the muffler 18 and the reserve tank 20 of large volume are not disposed in the space part 13, thus it is possible to secure the capacity of the air cleaner case 16.
